The only source of true Himalayan salt is the Himalayan Mountains. The salt for our lamps comes from deep underground mines located in Khewra, Pakistan, at the western edge of the Himalayan Mountains.

Himalayan salt comes in colors ranging from white to shades of pink, orange and red. The hue comes from the minerals contained within the salt and how much has oxidized.
